Erik Karlsson And Sharks Agrees to $82 Million Contract Extention

Erik Karlsson and the San Jose Sharks have agreed on an 8-year $82 million contract extension. This contract extension will keep Erik with the Sharks through 2026 - 2027 NHL hockey seasons.

Karlsson is viewed as being one of the premier defensemen in the NHL today. It is clear the San Jose Sharks believe Erik is a key player to try to get over the hump and win the franchises first Stanley Cup finals

The Sharks have made the playoff every season that Peter DeBoer has been their coach. That included being in the Stanley cup finals back in 2016.
