Cleveland Cavaliers Hire Lindsay Gottlieb To Coaching Staff

The Cleveland Cavaliers have hired the University of California, Berkeley women's basketball head coach Lindsay Gottlieb. Lindsay will join newly hired head coach John Beilein's staff as an assistant coach. 

Gottlieb is now the first women college head coach to be recruited to an NBA team's staff. 

Lindsay was the head coach for the Golden Bears from 2011 to 2019. Her teams have made the NCAA tournament every year she coached except for the 2015-2016 season. She managed to have a combined record of 179-89 and even made it to the NCAA Final Four in the 2012-2013 seasons.
