The New York Jets Trade Christian Hackenberg To The Raiders

The Former 2nd round draft pick for the New York Jets is getting a fresh start with the Oakland Raiders.

The Jets will get a 2019 7th round draft pick in return for Christian Hackenberg. I was convinced that the Jets coaching staff found out very early that Hackenberg could not play on the NFL level.

Raiders coach John Gruden is very high on Christian Hackenberg and believes in his potential. Christian Hackenberg will likely be in a backup role, but it feels like he will actually get a chance to play if an injury was to occur to Derek Carr.
