David Fizdale Becomes The Knicks Head Coach

The New York Knicks had finally found their new head coach, David Fizdale. Fizdale is respected around the league as a guy who has the potential at being a good coach in the NBA. He was an assistant coach for those Miami Heat teams that went to 4 straight NBA finals. 

Coach Fizdale had the opportunity to be a head coach with the Memphis Grizzlies. He managed to attain an overall record of 50-51. He was fired by the Grizzlies just after just coaching for 19 games into 2017-2018.

It was rumored that David Blatt was the lead candidate for being the next head coach of the New York Knicks. I was one of those people that really wanted former New York Knicks point guard Mark Jackson to get the head coaching job. 

David Fizdale is not taking over a good team to say the least. The Knicks are likely to get a top 10 2018 draft pick and have some cap space to sign some key players in free agency.
