Team USA Wins Gold In Women's Hockey

Team USA beat Canada to win Gold in 2018 Olympics women's hockey event.

The game came down to a shootout with the game being tied 2-2. After Team USA goalie Maddie Rooney stopped a shot from Meghan Agosta it was a wrap. But it was Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson who scored the winning goal in the shootout gave Team USA the lead.

Team USA ended two streaks with this victory. First, they ended Canada's streak of 4 straight gold medals in woman's hockey. They also ended a 20-year drought for Team USA women winning the gold medal in women's hockey. The last Team USA woman's hockey gold medal was in 1998 Olympic in Nagano, Japan.
