The Cavs Are Really In Trouble

A lot of people think the Cavs will just kick it into high gear as the season progress, but I am not so sure about that. One of the Signatures of all of the LeBron NBA finals teams is defense. From the Heat to the Cavs all of the teams LeBron took to the finals were exceptional defensive teams.

This 2017-18 Cavs team can't stop a nosebleed right now. You can just tell the chemistry is not there yet and they are paying for it early in the season. The Cavs have no business giving up 37 points in the first quarter to the Hawks. The Hawks are terrible this year.

I am not sure Isaiah Thomas coming back will just fix things. First of all, he is a defensive liability cause of his size and that's the Cavs main problem right now. Second of all, he will not get as many touches as he with the Celtics so don't expect him to average close to 30 points per game.

The Cavs do not look like a team that is a lock to come out of the East for the NBA finals.
