Is Clayton Kershaw Already The 2017 NL Cy Young?

Clayton Kershaw has had one of his best seasons ever. The Dallas Texas native is literally a Hall of Famer if he stops playing today and he has only been in the league for 9 years.

The 2017 National League Cy Young award is a stone cold lock and the winner is Clayton Kershaw. The Dodger win over 90% of the games that Kershaw starts with a 20-2 record. In a 2017 season where home runs are at an all-time high, Kershaw has an ERA of 1.95 which leads the National League.

Max Scherzer and Zack Greinke still have a shot to come up the rare. The Dodgers will be the first team clutch a playoff spot, so the question will the Dodgers continue to run Kershaw out there every 5th game to start? With Kershaw's injury history I wouldn't take that chance if I was managing the Dodgers. At this point, Kershaw means much more to you in the Playoffs.
